What is Pray for Zero?

We're a prayer-first, mission-driven community counting down to Zero people on earth without God's Word

Over 220 million people are still without one verse of the Bible. Your prayers will put an end to this great spiritual injustice.

While there are translators working hard to translate the Bible into their native tongue, this process may take years and require multiple translators. Many times these translators are living in challenging circumstances.

They need our prayers to finish the task.

Our Goals for Pray for Zero

By 2025

ZERO language communities without even a single verse of Scripture.
We are praying for every language community to receive at least one verse of the Bible, so that all may hear God’s Word in their own heart language.

By 2033

ZERO languages without the full Bible in their language.
We believe that through prayer, God will open doors for every person to have access to the entire Bible in their own language by 2033.

=

Tori Selph

Operations Manager

I’ve been in ministry for several years, mostly ministry in the local church. I was a stay-at-home mom for several years and felt the Lord calling me back into ministry. I connected with Seed Company’s mission, which accelerates scripture translation and impact for people groups without God’s word. I have been radically changed by scripture & God’s promises in scripture, and my heart hurts to think about people who don’t have the opportunity to read His words in a language their heart can connect with. Before this season in ministry, I had no idea of the number of people without a Bible in their language & I also didn’t know how important it is for believers to pray for the Bibleless. It’s ultimately the Great Commission, everyone having the chance to hear about God’s love, and one way is through having His word in their heart language so they can intimately know Him.

My role in Bible Translation is administrative and operational support for the Pray for Zero team.
