We’re so glad you’re here. Have you heard the latest and greatest? As of this year, we are still on track to see ZERO languages remaining without God’s word by the year 2033! This means that thanks to the Lord’s acceleration of this movement, we could see this catalytic piece of the Great Commission accomplished within our lifetime.
And the good news is, we don’t just need to sit back and be a witness to it. You and I have been chosen by the Almighty to intimately participate.
How could we, those of us who have been saved by Jesus, neglect the chief role he has invited us into? If Jesus has set you free, you have been called into a story greater than your own. In fact, he has been writing this story since the beginning of time.
As early as Exodus 9:16, God aims to display his glory among the nations, saying to Israel: “I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth” (NIV). His pursuit of his people continues when he sends Jesus to Earth to restore the relationship between God and man. As a final word to his disciples, Jesus commands them with “all authority in Heaven and on Earth” to “go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (NIV).
Does this command stir your heart like it does ours? As we read God’s word, He reveals to us that knowing, obeying, and sharing Him is the great purpose of our lives on this side of eternity. Not only does the Word of God have the power to transform us personally, but through Bible translation, Jesus makes a way for lives in every people group around the world to be transformed as well. He graciously invites us to participate in this fulfillment of his word through prayer.
We invite you to ask God to burden your heart for the Bibleless. Ask Him what your role may be in His transformation story. The reality is, we are on the cusp of global church history. And the enemy is doing all he can to divide, distract, and destroy the advancement of God’s Word to those who have not yet heard.
This spiritual battle is waging for the hearts and minds of the lost in nations around the world. By interceding in prayer for the Bibleless, we are declaring from which side of the field we fight. We are joining forces with the global church body and asking God to move so that his good news would be delivered to each longing heart. In James 5:16, we learn that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Further, when we pray, it positions our hearts in a state of dependence as we wait and trust God’s plan. In this battle, the enemy does not stand a chance.
At this point, you may be wondering “how do I actually commit to praying like that?” Your place in the Pray for Zero tribe represents a pivotal moment in both your prayer life and in your place within the Great Commission. In this international prayer movement, people like you join global leaders, college students, moms and dads, missionaries, business professionals, pastors, and kids, and unite under one mission. We engage in the work God is already doing by praying for the translation of his Word “so all the world from east to west will know there is no other God” (Isaiah 45:6a, NLT).
Can you imagine the celebration that will come when all 60,000+ of us see those prayers answered? The day will come, Lord willing, that the number of Bibleless peoples will finally reach zero. Will you be there rejoicing with us as we see this piece of God’s story fulfilled? We hope you will take your place in history with us, as God draws our hearts to pray for the things He loves!
